Wendy Hudson attended the College of Health Sciences in Roanoke and received an Associates of Science degree. She then attended James Madison University’s Physician Assistant Program in Harrisonburg, VA. After graduation, she worked as a Physician Assistant in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in South Boston, VA. Ms. Hudson relocated to Wilmington in 2006 and joined Wilmington Gastroenterology Associates.
Rheanna completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She then received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wingate University. After moving back to Wilmington, she joined Wilmington Gastroenterology in 2018.
Jean completed a Bachelor of Science at State University of New York College at Fredonia, NY in 1994. She earned a degree in Physician Assistant Studies from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY in 1999. She has practiced at Wilmington Gastroenterology Associates since 1999.
Jennifer Preston completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996, majoring in Biology and Studio Art with a minor in Chemistry. She graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2002. Jennifer spent several years working in ENT and then Family Practice prior to joining Wilmington Gastroenterology Associates in 2011.
Sarah is a native of Wilmington. She completed a Bachelors and Masters degree in Exercise Physiology at East Carolina University. After working in Cardiac Rehabilitation for 3 years, she went on to pursue a Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest University, graduating in 2009. She has been working in Internal Medicine for the past 6 years in Baltimore, Maryland before joining Wilmington Gastroenterology Associates in 2015.
Justin is a native of Wilmington. He attended East Carolina University receiving his Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Exercise Physiology. He graduated in 2015 with a Masters degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School’s Physician Assistant Program. Justin joined Wilmington Gastroenterology in 2015.
Caroline is a Wilmington native. She completed her Bachelor of Science at North Carolina State University in 2007. After working as a radiologic technologist for several years, she went on to pursue a Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies at Methodist University. Caroline earned her degree in 2019 and joined the Wilmington Gastroenterology team.
Shannah Wayne earned her Bachelor of Science degree in molecular and cell biology from East Carolina University in 2019. She then completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Wingate University in 2021. Shannah joined Wilmington Gastroenterology in 2022 after relocating to Wilmington from Ocean Isle Beach, NC.
